Privacy, in plain words

This page works the way the rest of the site does: name the thing, then deal with it. One form collects your details, they are used to answer your enquiry, and that is close to the whole story. The rest of the page is the detail, and it is short enough to actually read.

Plate I, what the form collects

What we collect, and why

The enquiry form is the only place on this site that asks for anything. It takes your name, your phone number, your suburb, which service you are after, and whatever you write in the message box about what you have seen and where. Email is optional; give it if you would rather be answered that way.

All of it exists for a single job: a licensed technician reads your enquiry, works out what is most likely going on, and comes back to you with a straight answer and a free quote. To get the work done, your enquiry may be passed to a suitable local pest-control provider who will carry it out. That is the full list of uses.

Your details are never sold. Your number goes on no marketing list, and nobody rings it except to answer the enquiry you sent.

Plate II, what this site does not do

Where pests do not turn up: your browser

Most privacy pages spend their length describing tracking. This one gets to say the opposite, because we checked the house before writing the report.

There are no analytics or advertising scripts on this site. No Google Analytics, no ad pixels, nothing watching which pages you read. There is no newsletter and no mailing list to sign you up to. There is no cookie banner because the site sets no marketing or tracking cookies to ask you about.

Spam is handled the identification-led way too: the form carries a decoy field that stays invisible to a person filling it in normally, and automated bots give themselves away by writing in it. Any submission that does is discarded as a bot. No puzzle for you to solve, no third-party checkbox.

Plate III, asking and removing

See your details, fix them, or have them deleted

If you would like a copy of the details you sent us, need something corrected, or want an enquiry deleted altogether, use the enquiry form, say so in the message box, and include the name and suburb you originally enquired with so we can find it. It is read by the same people who read every enquiry, and it is acted on the same way: plainly and without a runaround.

This page describes what actually happens on this site today. If the way the site works changes, this page changes with it.
