What this site is, and is not
The whole site runs on naming things accurately, so here is the site itself, named accurately. Three things to know before you read anything else here, put up front rather than buried in fine print.
The pictures are illustrative, and we made them
Every image here, photographic or drawn, is generated and authored imagery, made to show what the words describe: the kinds of houses, rooms and signs a Hunter pest job involves. It is honest about the region and the work, but no picture on this site shows a particular technician, a particular customer's house, or a job we have done.
The pest illustrations follow the same rule the footer states on every page: they are drawn to habit, not to scale. They show you what a pest does and where it lives, which is what matters for identification, rather than posing as field photography.
The guides point, they do not diagnose
Everything written here, the guides, the annotated house, the service and area pages, is general information for Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and Port Stephens. It is written carefully and it is a good way to narrow down what you are looking at, but it is guidance from a page, not an inspection of your house.
Reading a page here is not a diagnosis, a quote, a certification or professional advice, and it never replaces a licensed technician looking at the actual sign in the actual room. That goes double for anything termite-shaped: if what you have found could be termites, leave it undisturbed and book a licensed inspection. Nothing short of an AS 4349.3 inspection settles what is actually in the timber.
No prices appear on this site
Not one dollar figure, anywhere, and that is deliberate. Honest pest work is quoted on the actual job, so the number for your place comes from your enquiry: free, in writing, and standing on its own with no obligation. Anything a page here says about how pricing works, per-visit or annual programs, a set inspection fee, management quoted after inspection, describes the shape of a quote, never the amount.
